Founded in 2023 by James Cleaton, an e-commerce entrepreneur, In-House is backed by knowledge and real experience in building and scaling seven-figure online brands.

 

During the Covid-19 lockdown, James started experimenting with online stores on Shopify to pass the time. Over a four-year period, he launched 20+ stores, four of which reached seven-figure annual run rates, with some turning over £95k in the first month. During this time, James tried outsourcing the marketing to well-established UK agencies, assuming they would do a better job and free up some of his time. What he discovered, however, shocked him.

 

Agencies in the UK were outsourcing all their work (acting merely as middlemen), promising unrealistic figures, and tying James into 12-month contracts. None of this works for e-commerce brands.
